A Brief Introduction
Welcome to Atlas Geographica. The writing and all the connected podcasts are for anyone who, like me, has an insatiable curiosity to understand the world.
Who Am I?
I am an Australian living in Stockholm. I am working alongside number of companies, operating a couple of podcasts and writing online and in print.
What Am I Working On?
- 👔 I am distributing the best mennskop in Sweden. Running a specialised Digital Agency and investing in the best of Scandinavia.
- 🎙 I operate three podcasts. The flagship, ‘A Curious Worldview‘. The geopolitics heavy ‘Geopolitics & Power Podcast‘ and the risk, randomness and probablity special, ‘The Incerto & Nassim Taleb Podast‘.
- ✍️ There are 150+ articles published on this website (highlights below) or just 🔎 for what you are looking for.
- 🎬 A run a tiny Youtube channel which serves as another publisher for my podcast content but also houses a full review of Nassim Taleb’s ‘The Incerto‘ as well as a one off video, ‘31 Mental Models That Dictate Your Life‘.
- 💌 I send out a periodical newsletter which serves as a filter through the noise. Things to spur your curiosity.
Other, More Random Stuff
- 🤑 I have worked so many different jobs, both fun and soul destroying, since I was 15. For a number of years at a couple of different SaaS companies in various roles. I am now convinced of two things. I will only work for someone else if I believe in them, and beauracracy is an inescapable and cancerous poison of any organisation that grows to a certain size.
- 🇲🇽 My heart is Mexican.
- 🐝 Bloody Good Business – One of the most exciting ventures I am undergoing. It started with Oatly and is now expanding to several other giant companies in Sweden who are opening there doors to me for them to profile them.
- 📚 I am currently writing a book about chance, randomness and inexplicable directions of life tentativly called ‘Invite Serendipity Into Your Life’.
- 🌍 I am keen to bolster and write about the contents of this list, ‘Things That Actually Matter‘ as best I can. Please reach out and point me in the direction of the answers.

Atlas Geographica-ism’s
As words started to significantly accumulate throughout the pages of this website I found myself referring to constant truisms specific to somewhere but applicable everywhere.
- Big Stupid Numbers: It’s impossible for us to conceptualise something in the billions that we consume by the dozen.
- Predictions: If your prediction of the future is correct… you got lucky. How can we think about a future of infinite possibilities based on a finite experience of the past?
- Survivorship Bias is everywhere.
